“50th Year Sports Festival” Has Started at Our University
As part of our university’s 50th anniversary activities, the “50th Year Sports Festival” organized by the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the Department of Health, Culture and Sports has started with an inter-faculty football tournament.
The opening of the tournament held at the university sports facilities was attended by our University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İrfan Kaygusuz, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Sinan Akpınar, faculty deans, academicians and students.
Before the kick-off of the tournament, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kaygusuz and Prof. Dr. Sinan Akpınar presented flowers to the athletes and referees participating in the tournament.
In the tournaments that will last approximately one month; students will compete in football, basketball, volleyball, chess and darts.
